Notre Dame College School is a Catholic high school in Welland, Ontario. The classes range from Grade 9 to Grade 12. After the dissolution of OAC, a "12B" has also become popular for students wishing to stay for an additional year. The school was founded by the Holy Cross Fathers, the group of Roman Catholic priests who also founded the University of Notre Dame. Their mascot is the Fightin' Irish leprechaun named Lucky. The school is the largest high school in the Niagara Region, with approximately 1300 students. The motto of the school is Sapere Aude (dare to learn).

Notre Dame's basketball team often plays in the local Tribune Tournament. The cheerleading team is a multiple time national champion. The school Reach for the Top team is a provincial-level competitor, and the Mathletes team is the regional champion. The school also supports a wide range of sports teams, including soccer, football, lacrosse, hockey, track and field and swimming. Notre dame Girls lacrosse team is champions at ofssa in 2011 beating the best of all Ontario not losing a single game in the tournament
The members of the Notre Dame Students' Council are elected to represent the interests and concerns of the entire student body at Notre Dame College School. Students' Council organizes social activities for students, liaises with Administration and helps finance a number of school projects. The Council is responsible for all school dances, including the Christmas Semi-Formal, pep rallies, concerts, buyouts, out of uniform days, the Activities Awards Assembly, the Grade Nine Orientation and Barbecue, and many other activities that enhance the life of the Notre Dame Community. As the largest high school in Welland, Ontario, Students' Council helps keep the 63 year old Catholic tradition and pride at this great school alive and well. Students' council also maintains a website where students are able to information about upcoming events and activities.

The current principal of the school is Mr. Ralph DeFazio, The Vice-Principal's of the school are John Belcastro and Brad Johnstone. There are a total of some 85 teachers at the school.
The school has recently undergone several new expansions, including the 2006 addition of a new wing, and the 2007 construction of a lobby and front office. Of the School Boards 1.8 million dollar expansion budget for 2007, 1 million was reserved for Notre Dame. The new expansions have resulted in the school abandoning a section of portables which it had previously been using. The school also had a science and technology wing added in 1994.
The Niagara Catholic District School Board is the governing body for Notre Dame and all other Catholic High Schools in the region. All of the elementary schools in the Welland/Pelham area are considered to be feeder schools to Notre Dame.
